Jill is a Managing Associate at Reservoir Communications Group, bringing eight years of media experience. She possesses extensive content, production and managerial experiences for both media outlets and third-party organizations.
Prior to joining Reservoir, Jill was the Senior Media Advocacy Manager for the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, the nation’s leading cancer advocacy organization. Based in Washington, D.C. on ACS CAN’s national media advocacy team, Jill lead the external communications efforts on key federal issues, including tobacco control, quality of life and cancer prevention.
Before joining ACS CAN’s national media advocacy team, Jill worked as the organization’s Senior Media Advocacy Specialist in Houston, Texas supporting state and local legislative campaigns in Hawaii, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas and Guam. Specifically, she created communications content, managed strategic activities and engaged with media outlets to help promote ACS CAN’s work around tobacco control laws, quality of life initiatives and funding increases for each state’s cancer prevention programs.
Jill began her career producing and managing content for newscasts and digital platforms at TV news stations in Wausau, Wis. (WAOW-TV), Madison, Wis. (WKOW-TV) and Houston (KPRC-TV and KHOU-TV).
Jill graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.A. in Communications and earned her M.A. from the School of Communication at American University.
